Paediatric Physiotherapy is the assessment and treatment of children from birth to the age of nineteen.  A Skilled Paediatric Physiotherapist will look at your child with the knowledge of children’s physical development and an experience of many children’s conditions. It is important not to treat children as “mini adults” using this specialist knowledge of the developing bodies and the differences in their anatomy and function.

Conditions Treated include; Musculoskeletal conditions, knee pain, back pain, Acute Injuries/ Fractures, Rheumatological conditions, Arthritis, congenital disorders and metabolic disorders, neuromuscular disorders, Neurological conditions, developmental delay, co-ordination disorders.

Treatments will usually include a combination of exercise therapy, Core stability work, soft tissue massage and mobilisation, manual therapy, Postural advice and aquatic therapy.
